All summer we here at Haute PR have gone for our main-pedi’s and asked for the boldest and brightest nail polish the salons had to offer. Our office is an array of neon colors so bright our nails need shades! As our summer winds down and we look towards fall fashion we have come to find that our favorite neon’s are on the out! This fall the colors are a bit more subdued and a bit more out there. As we look to fall we see deep emerald greens, and even some mint greens that are sure to make your hands look like a million bucks! Blue is also popping up here and there in fall collections! We just adore the “Ski Teal We Drop” from the Fall/Winter 2010 Swiss Collection by OPI. This great shade will make the transition from summer to fall a little less blue for you! And if you were a fan of this summer’s pretty purples then you are going to love the dark plums coming this fall. You can’t go wrong with a nice dark nail in the fall. Well now that we have all seen the new colors for fall we’re about to go rush out and get them! You all should too! Better to be ahead of time than behind!
There is no better way to do your eye makeup for a night out than with a smokey eye style. Not only does a smokey eye enhance your eye color, it also makes your eyes look bigger, more defined, and overall adds a sexiness to your look. Here at Haute PR, we are obsessed with everything NARS. From their iconic blushes to their intense eye-shadows, we just can’t get enough. This is why we love their new shade of deep mocha brown with a bit of a sparkly tint incorporated called Mekong. Since it is brown also, it adds drama without being tacky with say an electric blue or bright green shade. At around $25, the shadow is a little pricey, yet totally worth it since a little swab of it goes a long way and the shadow itself will endure all through the day and night without creasing.
Here at Haute PR, we are huge fans of tinted moisturizer. It adds a slight highlight, shimmer and sun-kissed look that is not overbearing as it completely blends in with any skin-tone. It is a favorite in Hollywood, used by Lauren Conrad, Jessica Alba, Miley Cyrus and the like. At about $42, it is a splurge, yet it is worth it for your face will feel fresh and smooth, while still pulling off that elusive and desired illusion of flawless skin. 
Summer hair is one of the hardest things to maintain. It is either frizzy and flat because of the humidity or greasy and dry because of the unpredictable temperature changes throughout the day. One thing that has saved our hair here at Haute PR, is TREsemme’s Dry Shampoo. It comes in spray form for both straight and curly hair and completely eliminates grease while adding volume and life back into the hair as well. With this product, you can even get away with not shampooing for a night if you simply spray it on first thing in the morning (great for those nights on the town which can really do a number on your hair). There is no worse feeling than having chapped lips. It makes your lips feel dry, unhealthy, and most of all it is just plain unattractive. With a new sugar lip treatment by Fresh (one of our favorite brands here at Haute PR), your lips are saved and on top of that, they are exfoliated. With a brown sugar scrub incorporated into a clean stick of lip balm, the product gets to the root of the chapped lip immediately and completely eliminates it, giving your lips a great base if you want to add a lipstick or can simply be worn alone. Recently the product has expanded to include new shades, such as rose and plum, which does the job while adding color as well. This product will last you a long time and is completely affordable at about $23. Go out and get it!
Whether you are professional, a student, a stay-at-home mom, or a working mom… you need to relax and unwind at the end of the day. My favorite way to end the day is to take a nice bubble bath with some fruit and ice tea. The bubbles are not the only thing that is important about this ritual though. I like my bubble baths to smell good and to moisturize my skin. I’ve used all kinds of products for bubble baths from drug store brands to expensive brands. My favorite bath products by far is from Lush. Lush sells wonderful bath items that smell delicious and are made from very high quality ingredients. They have an array of different scents and for bubble baths, I always get two products to put into my bath tub: a bubble bar and a bath bomb. You put in the bubble bar first which dissolves very quickly and is meant to create a lot of bubbles and moisturize your skin. Then, you accompany the bubble bar with the bath bomb which starts fizzing when it comes in contact with hot water to help the bubble bar create even more bubbles!
My favorite bubble bar is the Flosty Gritter because it’s glittery and it is lavender scented. Lavender is a calming scent so not only will this bubble bar make your bath water pretty, but it’ll be aromatherapy as well!
My favorite bath bomb is Honey Bee because it smells AMAZING.

Living in New York City, my feet are always in pain and crying for some treatment. I probably walk up to five miles a day going to everywhere I need to go whether that is to meet friends or to go to work (okay, that might be an overstatement, but that’s how I feel at the end of the day). Although I would love to go to a spa and get a foot massage, I really don’t have the time for that nor the money. I would need a foot massage once a week for how tired they are. The Body Shop offers a miracle worker product called the Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray ($10). I discovered it a few years ago and gave it to my mother as a present. My mother being a CEO of a very successful consulting company, she’s wearing heels from 9am-5pm every weekday or even longer. I gave her this spray, but I never tried it myself until a few months ago when I went into The Body Shop for fun. I tested the foot spray on my boyfriend at the mall and he absolutely Loved it despite all the complaining he had done when I told him to take off his shoes and socks in the middle of the store (Haha, true story). These days, I’ve found out that in a matter of just a few months, I’ve practically finished the whole product! I cannot live without the spray. It is so refreshing for my foot and makes my feet smell nice and minty. You can even put it in the fridge to make it even cooler, but based on my experience, the spray is great even without being in the fridge.
If you try out the foot spray and you think it’s great, you should definitely get The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Leg Gel ($14) as well. It does the same thing as the foot spray, but it’s for your legs and the product works amazing as well. It revives your legs back up again, ready for long walks. What I normally will do is stop by my house before I go out to meet my friends after work to take three minutes to just spray my feet and rub some cooling gel on my legs so that I’m ready for a night out in the city. Plus, the last thing men want to hear about is how painful your shoes are or how tired you are.

I love getting cute makeup bags. I always get cute makeup (love Benefit packaging) that’s always packaged nicely, so why would I put my makeup in anything else than a cute one? I never have problems finding cute makeup bags because they’re everywhere. However, there is one issue that I have with most of them. They aren’t machine-washable. This is crucial to me because somehow my eyeliner, foundation, you name it, always gets everywhere in my makeup bag. When I found out about the RuMe bags, I was very excited. All RuMe products are machine washable and they have the cutest prints to offer. My personal favorite that works amazingly as a makeup bag is this:

In my experience, eyeliner has been one of the hardest makeup products to use. There’s so much precision involved and it always seems that my eyeliner ends up on my cheeks during these hot and humid months of summer. Although I’ve mastered the art of applying my eyeliner every morning, it takes me a lot of concentration and scrutiny for me to get it just right. However, since I’ve discovered Bobbi Brown Long-wear Gel Eyeliner, now I spend only a few seconds to apply my eyeliner. It’s waterproof and it comes in many different colors. At $21, it is definitely not cheap, but completely worth the fact that it decreases the time you need to spend on getting the perfect eyes every morning when you’re in a rush. Not to mention, at the end of the night, a lot of times, it is rather difficult to take waterproof eyeliner off even with the best eye makeup remover, but Bobbi Brown comes off hassle-free.
